Questions

Common questions

Is the rate fixed for the full mortgage term?

Often not. Thai mortgages may begin with a promotional rate and later move to an MRR- or MLR-linked rate. Use the calculator to stress-test the later rate.

Can a foreigner obtain a Thai home loan?

Eligibility varies substantially by lender, residence status, income location, property type and legal ownership structure. Confirm directly with the lender and a qualified adviser.

Are transfer fees included?

No. Use the separate Thailand property transfer fee calculator for transaction costs.
