Calculation example
Example at 1: Salary employee 40,000 baht/month (single)
- Monthly income = 40,000 baht
- Estimated annual income = 40,000 × 12 = 480,000 baht
- Monthly personal allowance = 60,000 ÷ 12 = 5,000 baht
- Estimated monthly net income = 40,000 − 5,000 = 35,000 baht
- Monthly estimated tax deduction ≈ (480,000 − 60,000) × 5% ÷ 12 = 1,750 baht/month
Example at 2: Salary employee 50,000 baht/month (married with 1 children)
- Estimated annual income = 50,000 × 12 = 600,000 baht
- Deduction for the whole year = 60,000 (personal) + 60,000 (spouse) + 30,000 (child 1) = 150,000 baht
- Estimated net income per year = 600,000 − 150,000 = 450,000 baht
- Monthly estimated tax deduction = (450,000 − 150,000) × 0% ÷ 12 = 0 baht/month (No need to deduct)
